Defne enjoyed dancing, but her work as a flight attendant made it difficult to attend the same class every week. One Monday, she received a message from her dance school in İstanbul. Her usual Tuesday class was moving to Thursday evening.
She checked her work calendar. She could go that Thursday, but she would be away the following week. Instead of buying a monthly ticket immediately, she emailed the school to ask about other choices.
The school offered single lessons and a flexible pack of four classes. The pack lasted two months, and students could use it on different days. However, they had to book each class in advance because the room was small.
Defne chose the flexible pack. At her first Thursday class, she did not know anyone. A student called Ece invited her to practise together. They both made mistakes and laughed. By the end of the evening, Defne felt comfortable.
She still missed her old group, but she was glad she had asked about the tickets. A small change in her plan had helped her continue something she loved.
