Make a visitor guide

Today’s goal: Read a notice and explain its opening times, participation rules and permissions.

Open independent practice

Before you start

Where can you practise English in your town?

Read for the main idea

Come to West Library this Saturday. We are open from ten in the morning to four in the afternoon. You can read books, use a computer or study at a table. Please bring headphones if you want to listen to something.

Our free English conversation group starts at eleven. It is for adults. You do not need a library card for the group, but please write your name on the list at the front desk. The group meets in Room Two. You can bring water, but please leave food outside. The café across the road sells sandwiches and coffee.

Write a final response

Write a notice for a free adult activity. Include a time, location and two rules.

Your writing stays on this page. It is not saved or submitted.
