- Four readers need 60 uninterrupted minutes for an audio-supported reading activity.
- The other four readers can use the main hall before or after that hour.
Your priority
Protect an uninterrupted quiet hour without pretending all readers need the same thing.
What to ask
Ask whether the conversation group can begin later or use another space for part of the session.
Negotiate
Explain your information accurately. Ask what the other person knows before making assumptions. You may change your preferred solution after hearing their evidence. Do not invent extra money, permissions or facts.
